TERMS AND CONDITIONS on PlagiarismCheck.org Drawing on Twitter (the “Terms”) 1. The promoter: Teaching Writing Online Limited (the “promoter” and “TWO”) a legal entity under the laws of United Kingdom, company no. 09737975, with its registered address at: 1st Floor 1 Cobden Court, Wimpole Close, Bromley, Kent, United Kingdom, BR2 9JF. 2. The drawing object (prize): 6 months of institutional subscription on PlagiairsmCheck.org for K-12 school with the unlimited number of users and checks. The prize shall be provided to the winner after passing the relevant formalities and providing the school’s data that will receive the prize. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 3. By entering into the drawing (completion the action stipulated in clause 5 below) will be deemed as acceptance of these terms. 4. The entrants must comply with the following: 4.1. For physical persons: • aged at least 21 years, • is employed at K-12 school which is interested in receiving 6 months institutional subscription on PlagiairsmCheck.org, • has the Twitter account page of a physical person, • made the necessary actions for participation in the drawing (see the clause 5 below), • gave his/her consent to processing his/her personal data (name / link to the Twitter account page / email) necessary to select the winner, to publish his/her name in the post about the winner and for further contact with winner in terms of receiving the prize, • is understand, that in the event of winning, the prize shall be provided to the school which he/she is employed, • is understand and agreed with the following Terms. 4.2. For school’s Twitter accounts (the “school pages”): • Twitter account page explicitly represent the school, • made the necessary actions for participation in the drawing (see the clause 5 below), • The school is interested in receiving 6 months institutional subscription on PlagiairsmCheck.org, • gave its consent to processing the data (name of the school / link to the Twitter account page / email) necessary to select the winner, to publish its name in the post about the winner and to further contact with winner in terms of receiving the prize, • is understand and agreed with the following Terms. 5. To enter the drawing a person/school page will provide each following action during the entry timeframes: 5.1. Like the post on the PlagiarismCheck.org Twitter account: “Win a FREE subscription for your school! Want to prevent plagiarism and enhance students’ writing skills? We are giving you a chance to win a free 6-month long subscription for your school! Follow us & RT this post to enter. Giveaway runs 12 pm Jan 31st – 12 pm Feb 13th CST. One random winner will be announced on Twitter on February 14, 2019. T&C here Good luck! Important: Open only for K-12 schools staff.” posted on January 31th, 2019 5.2. Retweet this post, 5.3. Follow PlagiarismCheck.org Twitter account. 6. The entry timeframes: January 31th, 2019 – February 12th, 2019. The closing date for entry will be February 12th, 2019. After the closing date the no further entries to the drawing will be permitted. 7. A winner will be chosen and announced on PlagiarismCheck.org Twitter account on February 14th, 2019 with the random selection of the single entrant by https://competitionagency.com/tweetdraw/. 8. After the winner announcement, the promoter shall contact the winner with the respective message via its/his/her Twitter page account for the further prize provision. 9. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 72 hours of notification, the promoter is entitled to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 10. If the winner refuses to accept the prize for any reason, the promoter is entitled to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 11. Only one entry will be accepted per person/school page. Multiple entries from the same person/school page will be disqualified. 12. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this drawing. 13. The promoter’s limitation of liability: 13.1. The promoter is entitled to exclude the entrant from the participants of the drawing if this person/school page doesn’t agree with these Terms, does not comply with the participant requirements stated hereabove or otherwise breached provisions of these Terms. In this case, the promoter is entitled to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 13.2. Given the random selection of the winner by the software (see the clause 7 above), the promoter cannot influence on such selection and shall not be responsible for any choice of the winner made by the software. 13.3. The promoter shall not be liable in cases described in clauses 9, 10 and 11. 13.4. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the drawing and these terms without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the drawing will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 13.5. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 13.6. The promoter shall not be responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this drawing. 14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the drawing will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 15. The drawing and these terms will be governed by law of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London. 16. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current United Kingdom data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 17.
