Canvas will share Canvas ID, Name, First Name, Last Name, SIS ID, Avatar and Email address \u2014 all required so originality reports can be tied to the correct student.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under <\/span><b>\u00a0Placements <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, confirm <\/span><b>\u00a0Link selection <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0is on. The Title field can be left as <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PlagiarismCheck.org LTI 1.3<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or shortened to whatever you&#8217;d like instructors to see in the picker.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 7: <b>Enable &amp; close<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><b>\u00a0Enable &amp; Close<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Submit a short sample document as a student, return as the instructor, and confirm that the originality report opens and the grade syncs back to the gradebook.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Troubleshooting<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Tool stays Pending and never activates<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reopen the registration page in another tab and check that the URL you pasted into <\/span><b>Canvas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hasn&#8217;t expired. Registration URLs are single-use; generate a new one and repeat the registration step.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Originality reports don&#8217;t appear in the gradebook<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Confirm that Assignment and Grade Services and Names and Roles Provisioning are enabled on the tool. In <\/span><b>Canvas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, verify the assignment was created with PlagiarismCheck as the submission type.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Students see an error when launching the tool<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ask the student to clear cookies for your LMS domain and retry.
